Powering the 0729 is the revolutionary 28 Volt Lithium-Ion battery pack exclusively from Milwaukee. The 28 Volt battery pack weighs less than an 18 Volt pack yet delivers two times the run-time, expanding the list of tools that can be driven on this platform. The battery is positioned so that the balance and line of sight to the cut are not compromised. This band saw has the deep cut capacity of 4-3/4 in. x 4-3/4 in., which makes this tool extremely versatile and productive. I use mine to cut metal molding & other channel/stuff; however, this is the ultimate in cutting the stems of cut flowers. Get the vase ready, trim the leaves to above the water line, cut at a slant, & immediately place the bunch in the water. The flowers last two more days and open faster. So, Guys, when you buy this, do it for her! Lighter, all day with full power, and typical Milwaukee quality...and it does flowers.
