Carbon tool steel bandsaw blades can cut all types of woods, plastics, metals, and mild steel. To dertermine bandsaw blade length: 1 - Check the owner's manual of your bandsaw machine for specifications.  2 - If the owner's manual is unavailable, cut your old bandsaw blade so that it lies flat on a level surface, and measure its length.
